On Saturday, July 2nd, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish celebrated the feast day of our patron sant and said a fond farewell to our retiring parish priest, Fr. Godwin. The celebration this year began with a bi-lingual Mass and was followed by a delicious barbecue prepared and served by our local Knights of Columbus council. Those attending could then opt to play Bingo (cash prizes) or watch the Knights challenge the youth ministry to a friendly game of volleyball (youth won over experience). As darkness fell, everyone was treated to a fireworks show provided by the Knights. Scroll the photo gallery below for highlights of the evening.
