Welcome to Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Parish School in Oroville California, and our mission church Saint Anthony of Padua in Challenge California.  We have been serving the Greater Oroville area since 1857, becoming part of the Diocese of Sacramento in 1886. We are glad you are here.

COFFEE HOUR:  The Parish Council will be the hosts on Sunday, October 24th  from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in STS Fitzgerald Hall.

STS Students Pray the Rosary:  Every Monday during the month of October, the St. Thomas School children will be praying the rosary in the church starting at 8:45 a.m.  All parishioners are invited to come pray with them.

CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION, CONFIRMATION, and RCIC:  Registration for children will be open through October 31st. Classes are Sunday 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the STAP Community Center. The fee is $45.00 per child. Faith Formations students must bring their Baptism certificate and Confirmation students must bring their First Communion certificate. K of C Intellectual Disabilities Fundraiser:  It’s that time of the year for the Knights of Columbus Annual Fundraising Drive supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities. Knights will be accepting donations after each Mass during October in front of the church.

Trunk & Treat:  Our STAP Youth Ministry/Teen Group has planned a “Trunk & Treat” on October 31st after 10:30 a.m. mass (weather permitting). All are invited to join in the fun!

STS Fitzgerald Hall Floors:  STS Fitzgerald Hall will NOT BE AVAILABLE October 25th through November 12th as the floors are being redone.
