Welcome to Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Parish School in Oroville California, and our mission church Saint Anthony of Padua in Challenge California.  We have been serving the Greater Oroville area since 1857, becoming part of the Diocese of Sacramento in 1886. Religious Education is now accepting students for the 2020-2021 School Year:

  • First Communion Year 1 and 2 classes will begin on Monday, October 26th from 6:30p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in STS Fitzgerald Hall. (more information click HERE)
  • Confirmation Year 1 classes will begin on Monday, October 26th from 6:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. in STS Fitzgerald Hall. (more information click HERE)
  • Confirmation Year 2 classes will begin on Sunday, November 1st from 9:15a.m. to 10:15a.m. in STAP Community Center. (more information click HERE)
  • Children RCIA class will begin on Sunday, November 1st from 9:15a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in STAP Community Center. (more information click HERE)

**PARISH OFFERINGS** — the cost of operating our Parish continues even though we are not there. Our main source of income is the Sunday offertory. Please consider continuing support of our Parish by either mailing in your offertory envelopes or by accessing the “OnlineGiving” tab located in the menu above.
