HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED: The Northern Valley Catholic Social Services operates the Wildfire Resource and Recovery Center based at 5250 Olive Hwy, Suite J, in Lakeside Village. They are assisting the survivors of the Bear Fire in Berry Creek and Feather Falls, which are part of our parish. CLRS has assisted the center, but more is needed. This winter has been difficult for many who are living in RVs amid the snow and mud from the rains. You may have surplus items that could assist these neighbors, such as: refillable 5 gallon propane tanks, function outdoor grills, camp stoves, camping propane, small dehumidifiers for RVs, toilet paper, tarps, packaged pre-cooked meals, vegetable seeds or plant. If you can provide assistance, please take donations to the Center which is open M- F from 10 to 4 EXCEPT Wednesdays 11 to 3:30. Phone: 530-990-5587.
