Welcome to Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Parish School in Oroville, California, and our mission church, Saint Anthony of Padua, in Challenge, California.  We have served the Greater Oroville area since 1857 and became part of the Diocese of Sacramento in 1886. We are glad you are here.

DAILY READINGS FOR: 2026

Changes to Mass

July 17 to August 11: Father Ramos will be on vacation. During his absence, Father Steve Borland will be here for daily and weekend masses in July.

August 4 and 11: 6:00 mass will be cancelled.

In August, Father McNamee, a Jesuit from Ireland, will be here for weekend masses and confessions only.

  • Deacon Tom will preside at services of Liturgy of the Word with Communion during the week.

Confession Schedule Update

August 4 and 11: Tuesday evening confessions will be canceled, please plan accordingly.
