Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Excerpt taken from the Diocese of Sacramento Memo, dated September 29, 2020:
“In counties assess at the substantial risk level (Red) or below adult parish groups (e.g. Knights of Columbus, Bible Study, Legion of Mary, Saint Vincent de Paul Society, etc.), may gather while following the protocols that correspond too the assessed risk tier. The general health and safety protocols apply when gathering together. Keep the meetings short (no more than 90 minutes).”
A REMINDER FOR THOSE GROUPS WHO USE THE COMMUNITY CENTER & PARISH OFFICE: You must check with Mary Seegert and have your meeting or group scheduled on the Parish Master Calendar. If you have a meeting, be responsible and turn off lights and heat and carefully lock the parish buildings when you leave. DO NOT assume someone else will take care of locking up. Everyone who has parish keys must take this responsibility.
Welcome! Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another. Our liturgies utilize the talents and gifts that God has given the St. Thomas the Apostle community to the fullest extent. Whether participation is through “behind the scenes” preparation and planning or through a public role of service within the Mass, parishioner contributions help our liturgies to be truly life-giving celebrations. Please prayerfully consider joining one of these ministries.
