Sacrament of Confirmation
Saint Thomas Apostle Church Religions Education offers classes for baptized children not enrolled in Saint Thomas the Apostle School wishing to receive their confirmation. The Sacramento Diocese requires that Confirmation Classes be two years in length and requires both student, parent, and sponsor participation.
Requirements
- Students must be in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade.
- The student must be baptized and have celebrated the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.
- Parents need to provide a copy of the Baptismal Certificate, by the first day of class.
- Parents need to provide a copy of the First Communion Certificate by the first day of class.
- Participation from both parents, sponsors, and students will be expected for both years.
Classes
- Year 1 classes will be held on Monday evenings.
