Men’s Ministry

“St. Joseph was called by God to serve the person and mission of Jesus directly through the exercise of his fatherhood.” -John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation Redemptoris Custos, 8

The Men’s Morning Ministry

Our ministry began in 1992 as a vehicle for working and retired Christian men to meet, discuss scripture, and share their own life experiences in relation to scripture and church teachings. All are welcome and you need not be Catholic to join us.

We meet every Thursday morning in the St. Thomas the Apostle Community Center. The coffee is always fresh ground and brewed. Some of the men meet at 5:00 am. to pray the morning Divine Office, with the rest of the group arriving by 5:30 am. for scripture study, which concludes at 6:30 am. You need not stay the entire time, as some have other obligations or have to leave for work. It’s a perfect way to begin your day, and besides, what else have you go to do at that hour of the morning?
