La madre de Jesús, se apareció a Juan Diego el 9 de Diciembre de 1531, siendo El uncampesino humilde, en una colina cerca de la Cuidad de México. Se dio a conocer como Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, su fiesta se celebra el 12 de Diciembre. La aparición de la Virgen es la única en el continente norteamericano ques es reconocida oficialmente por la Iglesia Católica.
Sociedad Guadalupana
La Sociedad Guadalupana de la parroquia de Santo Tomás es un grupo para adultos y jóvenes de habla hispana para Convivencia social, spiritual, crecimiento y servicio a la parroquia por medio de la oración. Venta de comida. Bailes y reunions sociales. Membrecía: feligresses de habla hispana, inglés y o bilingües. Su meta es dar a conocer a todos, mexicanos y no mexicanos el mensaje que la Virgen nos dejó en sus Apariciones. La Sociedad Guadalupana en nombre de la Virgen les agradece su apoyo y Ella tendrá en cuenta todo lo que por ella se hagamos será bien recompensado. El grupo se reúne durante el año en la Biblioteca Parroquial.

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Is the mother of Jesus, who appeared on December 9, 1531, to a simple peasant, Juan Diego, on a hillside near Mexico City. She is known and venerated as “Our Lady of Guadalupe.” Her feast day is celebrated on December 12th. This appearance of Mary is the only one in North America continent that is officially recognized by the Catholic Church.
Guadalupana Society
The Guadalupana Society of St. Thomas the Apostle parish, is a ministry to Spanish speaking young and adults, formed for social and spiritual fellowship, growth, and service to the Parish. Membership is open to Spanish, English, or Bilingual parishioners. The group meets throughout the year in the Parish library. Our goal is to also share the message of the Apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe to all young and adults in our community. Your support is greatly appreciated.
