Teen Ministry

The purpose of the Youth Ministry Program is to engage junior high school students and high school teenagers to build and help promote a life with Jesus. The Youth Ministry endeavors to recognize the gifts of young people, uphold the mission of the Catholic Church and Diocese of Sacramento, and prepare our youth for leadership.

Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation on young people, Christus Vivit. “It is also a summons to local Catholic communities to renew and revitalize their approach to the accompaniment and evangelization of youth (in junior high and high school) and young adults (in college and in their 20s and 30s).

We meet in the St. Thomas the Apostle Community Center on the 1st Sunday of every month following the 10:30 a.m. Mass and on the 3rd Friday of every month in the STAP Parish Office.
